Finishing Robot System Sanding and Polishing System
Features of Finishing Robot Systems
A robot reproducing human senses
The finishing process carried out by people “depending on their senses” is reproduced with our proprietary control function and software.
Load feedback control
When machining with such a tool as buff and a brush, the state of the tool is sent as feedback in real-time to automatically correct the machining path and speed. This prevents the inadequacy of machining due to wear and tear.![[image]Load feedback control](./file/512/robots_feature_img01.jpg)
Offset/rotation speed control
When machining with a sanding belt or non-woven belt, the offset value and rotation speed are automatically corrected. This prevents the inadequacy of machining due to paper or wheel wear and tear.![[image]Offset/rotation speed control](./file/513/robots_feature_img02.jpg)
Thrust control
Not affected by the shape of the workpiece or the angle of the tool, this control function makes the thrust constant in any posture. Any thrust at any location can be set.![[image]Thrust control](./file/514/robots_feature_img03.jpg)
Teaching support software
To reproduce human senses, it is necessary to check the finishing quality in teaching and input and modify data. Our proprietary software is available so as to reduce the above load.![[image]Teaching support software](./file/100/robots_feature_img04.jpg)
Peripherals supporting finishing
In addition to a tool holder with automatic control functionality and a buff head to make finishing quality stable, a wide range of tools are available that support various types of machining, such as an automatic tool changer and automatic wax supply machine.

Peripheral
The finishing process is automated more freely.
Finishing depends on human senses in many parts. Load put on teaching is a headache to many people. To reduce such load, the robot jointly developed by FANUC and us, the ”FINISHING MODEL” is introduced here. Offline teaching can also be executed.
